Hello, I am the audio guy of another team and I had the exact same problem with the audio layers being out of sync. Did you use FMOD?

(1 edit)

Hi! We used the audio tech built in the Godot game engine. It doesn't seem to be fmod.

But thanks for the comment. That would mean this is not a Godot specific issue.
We would be interested to know if you fix it. (and we will inform you if we find something too, but we don't expect to spend time on it for now)

We never fixed it and there is no know fix to the issue until now. My team looked everywhere and only found that for FMOD the audio gets synchronization problems in the web build. If you use the app everything will be perfect. I thought it was only an FMOD problem so I thought about switching to WWISE or another engine, but playing your game and communicating with you have shown me that it is something that will happen with web builds regardless of the engine.

I forgot the most important part of my message: great game!

Thank you 😊

Hey, here I am again, after replaying this for the 4th time.

I cannot stress enough how great this game is, just the gameplay, your take on the theme, the art, THE MUSIC. Dear god would you believe me it's only now I notice how getting more band members actually adds their instrument to the background music? MAN is that such a great touch and I'm so glad I finally noticed it.

Now, I have only played 62 of the... 1912 entries... Which isn't exactly as many as I wished I played (it's only about 3.24% of all the games submitted). BUT, this is without a doubt the best game I've played in this jam, and I hope this ends up in at least top 20 in some category.

Just, fantastic work, all of you. Cheers!

Wow, thanks a lot for this heartwarming comment :)

We had lots of fun creating it.
Glad you had fun playing it, too o/

Ahhh this is so great and creative
